What happens right after I sign up?

You go through a short onboarding: your business name, services, hours, and website. We automatically read your website so your assistant knows your business, then we provision your AI phone assistant and chat bubble. Most owners are live within 48 hours while we finish setup and verification on our end.

How long does setup take?

Plan for about an hour of your time. You answer onboarding questions, add your website, and connect a few details like your social accounts and Publer workspace. You can do it in one sitting or split it into two 30-minute sessions. We handle the assistant, phone number, chat bubble, and knowledge loading on our end.

Do I need to be technical?

No. The dashboard walks you through each step in order. The only copy-paste is one line of code for the chat bubble, and we can email it to your web person for you.

Can I name my own assistant?

Yes. Pick any name you like in Settings — once you do, your dashboard and your assistant use that name everywhere. Sparky is just our mascot.

What does the AI phone assistant actually do?

It answers your business calls 24/7, greets callers by your business name, answers questions about your services, hours, pricing, and location, books appointments on your calendar, and captures the caller's details when they want a callback.

Do I get my own phone number?

Yes. We provision a local number in your area code. You can hand it out directly, or forward your existing business line to it after hours (or all the time).

Will it ask every caller for their name and number?

No. It answers questions first. It only collects contact details when the caller asks for a callback, wants to book, or has an after-hours emergency — or as one friendly offer at the very end of the call.

What happens with after-hours emergencies?

If someone calls after your business hours with an urgent issue, the assistant takes their name, number, and the details, marks the lead as high priority, and forwards it immediately to the emergency contact number you set — the same way a live answering service would.

Yes — during business hours calls can be forwarded to your cell or office line. Outside of hours it takes the message and dispatches it.
